As a child growing up in NYC, I engaged in painting and drawing. I went to Pratt Institute for

illustration. Along with sculpting and drawing classes, I took a course in photography, which collectively influenced how I view the world.

Photography is my life. It enables me to create and appreciate the beauty I see and feel around me. I wrote this in an article about my work for a Swiss photography magazine. That each image I create is an “emotional orgasm” that cry's out to me. It is no different than a writer illustrating the beauty of a person or a sunrise,and it is no different than composing a song.

If you feel it, it lives.
